Multi-perspectivalism
Kaleo Church, which is an Acts 29 church in San Diego, is a very interesting church in that they are heavily influenced by the teachings of John Frame, especially in regards to tri-perspectivalism. This is a worldview that argues that "the knowledge of God’s law, the world, and the self are interdependent and ultimately identical."
Frame has written at length about these three perspectives in his book, "The Doctrine of the Knowledge of God". While it is a great introduction to this line of thinking, I don't really recommend it unless you have a decent amount of spare time, and a long attention span. Drew Goodmanson has offered a summary of the three perspectives as modeled by the life of Jesus, in his role as Prophet, Priest and King.
I don't think this essential to anyone's growth in the faith, but I do think it is a helpful way of looking at things and understanding people. If you have the time, read Drew's post and tell me where you fall.
I think I am a prophet/priest.
(p.s. - huge bonus points for anyone who can name the band pictured above. huge.)
